With over 20 years experience in the training industry across multiple fields, hundreds of hours of personal development and a passion to help people, Mal Thompson leads the My First Aid Course training team.

Mal is passionate about helping the regular Aussie develop the life saving skills of First Aid and doing it in a way that is engaging, fun and yet highly educational and professional. In recent years Mal has also been working in Outdoor Education providing First Aid in remote situations across Northern NSW and South East Queensland – a good test for any first aider and one of Mal’s specialties! This was where Mal began as a First Aid Trainer working with 'at risk' young people and helping them develop their CPR and First Aid skills.
Mal is a family man with an amazing Wife- Jane (a Teacher) and 3 great young adult sons.
Mal loves anything that gets him into the great Aussie outdoors with fishing, boating and camping toping his list.
